Open Access Policy
Japan Studies Association Journal uses double-blind peer review to ensure the originality and high quality of its content, to which it provides free and open access. Contributors retain full publication rights for their work, which is licensed under the CC-BY-NC-ND 4.0 International Creative Commons Licence.
This means that readers are allowed to access and share all Journal content (read, download, print, copy, search or link to full text), as long as they provide all necessary attribution. Readers are not allowed to use Journal content commercially or modify it by remixing, transforming or building upon it. Readers and contributors are required to familiarize themselves with the terms of the CC-BY-NC-ND 4.0 International Creative Commons Licence.
Japan Studies Association Journal does not charge any submission, peer-review or publication fees.
